  1. Common shuttle service (CSS) – buses that operate on a regular schedule for all accredited persons
  2. Pre-planned transportation service – vehicles transporting accredited persons to and from selected Singapore 2010 events
  3. Public transportation – local public transport, including the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) train and Singapore bus services
  4. Vehicle rental – assistance will be made available to media for renting vehicles, at their own expense, through the Directory of Services

Arrival and Departure

Upon arrival at Singapore's ports of entry (Singapore Changi Airport, Tuas Checkpoint, Woodlands Checkpoint, Seletar Airport and Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal), transport will be provided for accredited media to Youth Olympic Games (YOG) media hotels. A similar service will be arranged for departure.

From the YOG hotels, the media can take the CSS to the Media Accreditation Centre at the Main Media Centre (MMC) at Marina Bay Sands to collect their Youth Olympic Identity and Accreditation Card upon producing their Media Accreditation Confirmation Letter. Transportation services are available from 5 to 28 Aug 2010.

City Transport Mall

The City Transport Mall (CTM) will be co-located with the MMC, and the CSS will transport accredited media personnel to Singapore 2010 competition venues, the Youth Olympic Village (YOV), Culture and Education Programme venues and YOG media hotels from the CTM.

The first shuttle service to depart from the CTM will be scheduled two hours before the start of every competition, while the last service is scheduled to depart from the competition venue two hours after the competition. The CSS will run at half-hour intervals throughout the competition. Shuttles to the YOV start at 06:00 hours and run at half-hour intervals. The last bus from the YOV to the CTM will depart at 23:59 hours.
