Fencing
Description

Fencing is a traditional sport developed based on ancient sword fighting, involving two competitors contesting bouts using light weapons: épée, foil or sabre. There will be Individual and Mixed Team competitions during the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games.

QUALIFICATION SYSTEM
(Qualifying Events) :
2010 Cadet WC
Procedure : Best ranked fencers from each geographical zone at Cadet WC qualify, respecting the following distribution: Asia/Oceania - 2 per event, Europe - 4 per event, America - 2 per event, Africa - 1 per event.
