| Ceremony Tickets Ballot Phases: As tickets for the ceremonies are limited, they will be available for sale via a ballot system to ensure everyone has a fair chance to buy them. There are three phases to the ballot process. Phase 1: 23 Apr to 09 May 2010 - Ballot Registration Customers have to register their interest for the number of tickets for each respective ceremony and the price category of tickets that they wish to buy. Registration must be submitted through the Singapore 2010 Website or Singapore 2010 Ticketing Hotline at +65 6348 2010. All applicants will receive a ballot registration email confirmation with a reference number upon successful registration. Phase 2: From 10 May to 23 May 2010 - Ballot Selection Process & Notification of Results The ballot selection process will involve the collation of all complete and valid applications in the database. The e-ballot system will perform the necessary checks and eliminations based on ballot rules, following which it will randomly select successful applicants based on available ticket inventory of each price category. All applicants (successful or otherwise) will be informed about the ballot results via email by end May 2010. Applicants who do not receive any notification can call the Singapore Ticketing Hotline for assistance. Phase 3: From 24 May to 07 Jun 2010 - Ticket Payment and Collection Successful applicants will be given a Ballot PIN to be used with the registration reference number to access their allocated ticket order for Ceremony tickets. The allocated ticket order is final and no changes will be allowed. Full payment for tickets must be made by 7 June 2010. Applicants who do not login to purchase the tickets by the given deadline will be considered as having forfeited their right to purchase the allocated tickets and any subsequent claim or chance to purchasing Ceremony tickets. Phase 4: From 14 Jun to 18 Jun 2010 - Ballot Selection Process, Notification of Results, Ticket Payment and Collection Following the forfeited tickets in the earlier phase, the e-ballot system will randomly select unsuccessful applicants in phase 1 based on available ticket inventory of each price category. Applicants (successful or otherwise) will be informed about the ballot results via email. Successful applicants will be given a Ballot PIN to be used with the registration reference number to access their allocated ticket order for Ceremony tickets. The allocated ticket order is final and no changes will be allowed. Full payment for tickets must be made by 30 June 2010. Phase 5: From 05 Jul 2010 – Launch of Closing Ceremony Ticket Sales To Public Following the ticket balloting and payment collection exercise which concluded on 30 June, a proportion of tickets which were not transacted are now open for public sale. This allows people who did not participate in, or were not familiar with, the balloting exercise an opportunity to buy tickets and join in the occasion to celebrate the closing of the first-ever Youth Olympic Games. Phase 6: From 02 Aug 2010 – Launch of Opening Ceremony Ticket Sales To Public With the final tabulation of orders from our specialty client groups such as the International Olympic Committee, National Olympic Committees and International Federations, the balance of opening ceremony tickets are now made available for spectators to purchase. This allows people who did not participate in, or were not familiar with, the balloting exercise an opportunity to buy tickets to witness the historical opening of the first-ever Youth Olympic Games.
