We will only know the athletes and teams that are competing in the Singapore 2010 Games events closer to Games time. This is because the international teams or individuals must first qualify for the Youth Olympic Games. Competition draws that require tournament-style play will also be conducted nearer to the Games, following the qualifying tournaments. If you wish to find out who the athletes/teams are competing in the Games before you buy your tickets, you may want to wait for the details to be made available. However, we would like to encourage you to buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment as tickets are likely to be sold out quickly especially for the popular sport competitions.
| |
| Q9 |
The ticket will allow you to enter a specific venue to view the specific competition session. The ticket also comes with a Singapore 2010 DBS Visa Prepaid Companion card that provides complimentary public transport (i.e. four MRT rides and unlimited bus rides) for you to travel to and from the venue on the specific event day. |
| |
| Q12 |
SYOGOC will work with the official Ticketing Service Provider for the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games to ensure the regulation of a fair allocation system and an audit of the balloting process will be carried out as well.
